We run several groups in the Salt Lake City area. Through these groups, we plan and host regular events. Our leaders also work to help others lead events and build communities.

We believe that everyone has a place and deserves a chance. We also believe that it is important to speak up when you see something wrong and stand up for what is right.

We began as part of an outdoor group, even though we have split off from that group we still occasionally go back to a roots by creating joint events.
About us
Utah Social was created in October of 2019 to help consolidate and organize the social groups we had created while running our hiking group, Utah Outdoors. It is our mission as the leaders of this overarching group to help others who are interested in creating events and bring others together. It can be difficult to find friends and build a social group in today's society and we feel that this is one of the most important issues facing our society today.

About Us
Utah Outdoors is an outdoor community with over 11,000 members in Utah. Founded in 2012, we have been working building our group so that we can provide our members more opportunities for adventure. Our leadership and those who lead our events are all volunteers who are passionate about helping others find ways to get outdoors. We strongly believe that getting outdoors often is beneficial to our well-being.
